This is one of the most classical tour routes in China starting from the Four Great Ancient Capitals and ending at the very modern Cosmopolitan City of Shanghai in both China and Asia. The trip to the four historic capitals of China, which are located in different regions, will arouse the travelers' great curiosity for sure. Why were these historic cities chosen as the capitals in the past or nowadays? The answers shall go to this historic journey! As the trip goes on, Suzhou, which is famous for its beautiful stone bridges, pagodas and meticulously-designed gardens, is shown to be a cradle of traditional culture in East China. This is a tour worthwhile to spend your time searching for yesterday's and today's China.

• Welcome to China! Welcome to Beijing! After arrival, you are needed to clear the customs and retrieve your baggage, be met by our tour guide in the Arrival Hall who is holding a sign on which it says your name. Then be transferred by your private car/vehicle to your hotel downtown. After check-in and a short rest in your hotel, pay a visit to the Temple of Heaven, "The Egg" - the National Centre for the Performing Arts and the Qianmen Street. However it depends on your flight schedule, in case of your late arrival the remainder of today is free for you.

• Today's excursion will first take you to the Badaling Great Wall. After lunch you may take some photos of the Bird's Nest and the Water Cube on your way to the splendid Summer Palace. Feel a little tired after the full-day trip? Not to worry. Mandarin Tours will arrange a foot massage (free of charge) for you. It is a most incredible relaxing treatment! With the famous Peking Roast Duck for dinner, you will complete today's program.

• Today you will first visit the spectacular Tian'anmen Square and the magnificent Forbidden City. After having lunch in a local family during the following Hutong Tour, you will be escorted to the Jingshan Park and the Beihai Park. In the early evening, our tour guide will lead you to the Railway Station to catch the overnight train to Xi'an (21:24-08:25+1).

• Upon arrival in Xi`an, you'll be met and transferred by our local guide to your hotel for breakfast. Then you will begin today's excursion with the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda followed by the Shaanxi History Museum.
• Optional: You might complete the rest of the day with the worldwide famous Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show or  Dumpling Dinner (Jiaozi banquet) or both of them (You could also book it/them in advance with this tour together).

• In this morning, you will take a visit to the Xi`an Stele Forest Museum and the Ancient City Wall. Afterwards you will stroll around the Xi'an Local Free Market where you can experience the typical daily life of the local people. After lunch, you will be escorted to the railway station to travel to Luoyang by train (15:33-20:33) in first class. Upon your arrival in Luoyang, be met and transferred by our local guide to your hotel and the remainder of the day is your own free time.

• Today you will enjoy a full-day trip to the Longmen Grottoes and the Shaolin Temple. In the Shaolin Temple, you will appreiciate a typical Chinese Kongfu Show. Afterwards you will be transferred to the railway station to take overnight train (19;56-07:19+1) in first class to Nanjing. 

• Upon your arrival in Nanjing in the early morning, our local guide will meet you and excort you to your hotel for breakfast. And then you will make a city tour of the Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge, the Dr. Sun Yat-sen`s Mausoleum, the Zhonghua Gate and the Confucius Temple.

• After breakfast, you will leave for Suzhou by train (09:35-11:14). Suzhou, known as the "Garden City", enjoys the fame of "Up above there is heaven; down below there are Suzhou and Hangzhou". Upon your arrival, you will visit the Master-of-Nets Garden, the Panmen Gate and the No.1 Silk Factory. After a cruise on the Grand Canal, you will get closer to the city of Suzhou, which is reputed as "Venice of the East".

• After breakfast, you will be picked up to travel to Shanghai by train (09:33-10:10). Upon your arrival, you will start an impressive city tour with the visit to the Bund and the People's Square as well as the Shanghai Museum.
• Optional: The Acrobatics Show here is the best one in whole China. This evening, you may have an opportunity to enjoy it! Mandarin Tours will be very glad to arrange this program for you. If you want, you can book it in advance with this tour together.

• Today, your full-day excursion of incredible Shanghai will take you to the Yu Garden, the Dongtai Road, the French Concession, the Nanjing Road and the Jinmao Tower.
• Optional: If you'd like to enjoy the frenetic nightlife in Shanghai, you could take a taxi to Xin Tian Di (The New World) where you will get the taste of Shanghai in the 1920's and the sonic modern lifestyle of urbanites. Just relax and enjoy the local beer and rock and jazz music. Another choice you have for this evening is to take a cruise along the Huangpu River. You could ask our local guide to arrange both of them, so that you can experience them in order!

• Enjoy your leisure time until your guide picks you up from your hotel. And then, you will "fly" to the airport for your departure by taking the world's fastest train - the Shanghai Maglev. However, it depends on your return flight schedule.
