Which is better: hills beautifully reflecting in Li River or Yellow Mountain frequently shrouded in mist? That would be one of the hardest questions for these travelers who are fond of majestic mountains and rivers, but fortunately, this well-arranged itinerary from Guilin to Yellow Mountain will be of a great help for travelers to find the right answer. Interestingly, all these scenic spots on the itinerary have been used as the pattern on RMB notes in order: Yellow Mountain on 5 Yuan RMB note, the most famous section of Yangtze River on 10 Yuan note; Hills reflecting in Li River on 20 Yuan note. • Welcome to China! Welcome to Guilin! After arrival, you are needed to clear the customs and retrieve your baggage, then met by our tour guide in the Arrival Hall who is holding a sign on which it says your name. And then transferred by your private car/vehicle to your downtown hotel. After check-in and a short rest in your hotel you will have an impressive tour of the Folded Brocade Hill. However it depends on your flight schedule. In case of your late arrival, the remainder of today is free for you.

• The first destination of your today's tour is the Reed Flute Cave, the most impressive cave in Guilin. After lunch, you will pay a visit to the Elephant Trunk Hill - the symbol of Guilin and the Fubo Hill. Afterwards you could stroll along the Li River, the Ronghu and the Shanhu Lake to appreciate the fantastic sights. At night, under the colorful neon lights, the natural beauty of landscape turns into a galaxy of ecological harmony between man and nature.

• Today's full-day excursion will take you to the majestic Longji Dragon's Backbone Rice Terraces and the Yao Houses. The journey by this picturesque route is very attractive, so you could make some photo-stops on the way if you like. Upon your arrival, the fantastic rice terraces and beautiful wooden houses will definitely amaze and delight you. In the Yao Village, you will meet some long-haired Yao Minority women who are lovers of singing songs. You also have an opportunity of enjoying the tea made by the Yao people and Long-Hair-Show performed by Yao women. 

• After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel at about 08:00 and driven to Zhujiang Pier (about 40 minutes) to start your cruise along the tranquil Li River to Yangshuo - the highlight of your sightseeing tour in Guilin. The lunch will be served on the boat. After disembarking and roaming on the interesting and bustling Yangshuo Free Market, you will take a ride on bike into the country of Yangshuo to experience the local people's life and appreciate the unforgettable scenery.
• Optional: Would you like to try an alternative way of enjoying a performance, in a natural environment? This evening, you could witness a performance of the 'Impression on Sanjie Liu'. We are sure that it will satisfy you greatly. Our local guide will be very glad to help you with this arrangement.

• Be free until our local guide meets you and escorts you to the airport to take the morning flight to Chongqing, the world's largest municipality. Upon your arrival in Chongqing, you will be met and transferred by our local guide to take a city trip to the E`ling Park, the Great Hall of the People and the Ancient City of Ciqikou. After this short but unforgettable stay in Chongqing, you will have your dinner before you are escorted to the docks where your President Cruise Ship awaits your arrival. It is the newest and best cruise ship you will take. And the ship will set sail at 22:00.

• If you are used to getting up early, you may learn Taiji or Qigong from a master in the morning. After breakfast, you will start the shore excursion of the Ghost City of Fengdu or the Shibaozhai Pagoda at 08:00. Once settled into the cabin, you can enjoy various onboard entertainments, such as Karaoke, bar, lectures, library and massage. Have a good time.  

• Please enjoy morning fresh air and take morning exercises followed by breakfast! Today, you have an opportunity to take an optional shore excursion (07:00 - 09:00) to the White Emperor City (reservation and payment can be made directly at the reception of the cruise ship). The cruise ship will enter the first gorge - the Qutang Gorge at 09:00 and a few minutes later, it will sail through the Wu Gorge (09:00 - 13:00). You will go on another excursion to the Shennong Stream or the Less Three Gorges by boat (13:30 - 17:30). About 18:00 the cruise ship will enter the last gorge - the Xiling Gorge. After dinner you will sail on through the Five-Stage Ship lock.

• After breakfast, you will take the last shore excursion to the Three Gorges Dam (08:00 - 10:00) .Once settled into the cabin, the ship will sail through the rest part of the Xiling Gorge. After lunch, you will disembark at Yichang and be met and transferred by our local guide to the airport to catch your flight to Tunxi via Shanghai. Upon your arrival, you will be met by your local guide and escorted to your hotel in the old city of Tunxi. The remainder of the day is your own time.

• You will be picked up from your hotel at 08:00 and escorted to the Huangshan Mountains (also known as Yellow Mountain). After one-hour drive you will arrive at the foot of Huangshan and then climb to its top by cable car. Wandering in this spectacular mountain, you will be deeply impressed by its picturesque landscape. Afterwards you will thoroughly understand the spirit of the old Chinese saying: "No other mountain is worth a glance after you've been to the Huangshan Mountain".
   

• After breakfast, you will be picked up by our local guide and escorted to go down the mountains by cable car or on foot according to your choices. And then go back to the Ancient Town of Tunxi for a short sightseeing before you start your drive back to Hangzhou. When you are back to Hangzhou, you will go on your tour of the Six Harmonies Pagoda and a Tea Plantation Farm.

• Today, you will enjoy a full-day excursion to the romantic West Lake together with a boat cruise, the Lingyin Temple and the Huqingyutang (Traditional Chinese Medicine Museum). Afterwards you may stroll down the streets in the old city of Hangzhou.

• After breakfast, you will leave for Shanghai by train (10:00-11:18). Upon your arrival, you will have an impressive city tour of the Bund and the People's Square with Shanghai Museum.

• Today, your full-day excursion of incredible Shanghai will take you to the Yu Garden, the Dongtai Road, the French Concession, the Nanjing Road and the Jinmao Tower.
• Optional: If you'd like to enjoy the frenetic nightlife in Shanghai, you could take a taxi to Xin Tian Di (The New World), where you will get the taste of Shanghai in the 1920's as well as the sonic modern lifestyle of urbanites. Just relax, enjoy the local beer and rock and jazz music. Another choice you have for this evening is to take a cruise on the Huangpu River. You could ask our local guide to arrange both of them, so that you can experience them in order!

• Enjoy your free time until your guide picks you up from your hotel. And then, you will "fly" to the airport for your departure by taking the world's fastest train - the Shanghai Maglev. However, it depends on your return flight schedule.
